Segment based electronic shelf label (ESL)
This is a low cost electronic shelf label which provides the ability to display static information as well as adaptive electronic information.
The segment based label (ESL) can be configured to flash to grab attention or highlight an offer. All labels belonging to the same section in the store can be synchronized to flash in the same rhythm.
The displays provide advanced label features for complex pricing scenarios to enable maximum benefits to be realised.
The display consists of an LCD liquid active area with pre-set segments for clear and easy to read information display.
Battery life is maximised by the low power chip design which enables automatic switch on and off of the labels as required.
The technology is proven and is being used extensively throughout mainland Europe. It is also cost effective ensuring a rapid return on investment.
The communications protocol is Infrared which has many advantages.
The labels can be easily moved and are not restricted by cabling or networking limitations.
We can provide seven standard label sizes plus custom sizes if required.
