TESCO deploys thousands of Personal Digital Assistants - Herbert Retail
Herbert Retail has recently announced that it is supplying the leading supermarket group Tesco, with a major order for thousands of its specially developed colour 750 handheld PDA’s.
The new PDA, which is manufactured by Intermec and then specially adapted, uses the very latest technology to make the device virtually future proof and maximises the benefit to the supermarket giant. The rugged, wireless, networked handheld PC with its almost limitless range of stock control and ordering capabilities is being deployed to stores throughout the UK.
A full training programme is also being provided by the Haverhill, Suffolk based company’s Customer Service Team.
